Keep your
kids singing this summer at one of the Minnesota Opera’s summer camps.
Again this summer, the Minnesota Opera is offering summer camps to give kids a
hand’s-on experience with opera. If a kid is new to the art form or has been
singing for years, we have a place for everyone.
Children’s
Chorus Camp
Grades 4-8
June 10-12,
2014 (1-4pm)
Three
afternoons where we sing popular children’s chorus music and get a
behind-the-scenes look at producing an opera. Held at the Minnesota Opera
Center.
Summer
Opera Camp

Grades 9-12
June 15-20
Teens learn
arias and opera choruses with daily vocal coaching and movement sessions.
Residential camp at Shattuck-St Mary’s School in Faribault.
Opera
Artist +
New for 2014!
College
undergraduates
June 15-20
Learn about
Teaching Artistry, Creative Ageing and what a career of a modern day opera
singer might look like. Singer also get daily vocal coaching and will
participate in a mock audition.
Residential
