On
Friday, May 10th, more than 200 people joined Ordway Education for the Annual
Liaison Appreciation Event including a reception in Jackson Room at Travelers
and tickets to Friday evening’s performance of Anything Goes.
The
annual event sponsored by Travelers, honors the hard work and dedication of
Ordway education school liaisons, who make it possible for more than 50,000
students experience the magic of the performing arts at the Ordway each year!
During
the event the Ordway Education Advisors also presented the 2013 Education
Awards.
This
year’s education award winners included:

Susan
Carter and the Pentair Foundation for philanthropy
·
Karla
Nweje and Leah Nelson for education service
·
Mary Anne
Quiroz for community commitment
·
Brian
Goranson from SPCPA for vision
·
Don
Ulmer posthumous award for long term dedication
