First Annual National Arts In Education Week!

Did you know that this week is National Arts in Education Week?

Congress designated National Arts in Education Week as the second week of September to promote and showcase the essential role that arts education plays in creating a successful, well-rounded and engaged student!

The resolution states: Arts education, comprising a rich array of disciplines including dance, music, theatre, media arts, literature, design, and visual arts, is a core academic subject and an essential element of a complete and balanced education for all students.

Did you know that Ordway Education programs engaged more than 50,000 students and educators last year through performances, study guides, workshops and residencies?
