Alice in Wonderland Open Rehearsals

Join the cast of Alice in Wonderland for open rehearsals. Audience members will have an opportunity to take part of the creative process as they prepare for their upcoming performance.

Festival Volunteers Needed!

This year’s Flint Hills 2014 International Children’s Festival will begin on May 27^th and end on June 1^st. The Ordway is currently looking for a variety of volunteers for the following positions:

School Week Festival Host

Crossing Guards

School Walking path Escorts

Story time Garden

Set-up and take down

Festival runner

And Many More!

Each volunteer shift runs between 3 and 4 hours, and volunteers receive free tickets to shows as available. Volunteers also receive a free t-shirt, free parking, and free food in the hospitality area.  Even if you volunteer for just one shift, any and all participation is much appreciated.

Participants will be guided through a Horton based warm-up that will prepare them to learn movement phrases from the company repertoire commissioned by the Ordway to premiere on May 10.

• Space is limited to 40 dancers.
• Class is open to dancers with Intermediate to Advanced/Professional levels of dance experience.
• Participants should be prepared to dance bare footed.
